The Singapore Improv Festival is a celebration of spontaneous creativity, where improvisational theater troupes from around the world come together to showcase their skills in a series of performances and workshops.

This year features an incredible range of improvisational talent, capable of anything from sharp comedic wit, theatrical storytelling, ensemble physicality, to genre-bending musicality. As performers create plays, comedies, and musicals on the spot - we welcome you to experience the full joy of living moment-to-moment with us!

This year, we explore our sense of community and what it means to be part of one.

Communities make us feel safe, joyful, like we’re part of something larger than ourselves. We even define ourselves by the groups we belong to - they’re our identities, ideologies, nations. But in a time where these definitions have hardened into battle lines, we want to question our communities more than ever.
