2. “Make Your Improv Song Like a Real Song” by Huang, Wei-Hsiang (GUTS) (Taiwan)

  • Stamford Arts Centre Music Room (#01-06) 155 Waterloo Street Singapore, 187962 Singapore (map)

Synopsis:

Wei-Hsiang believes improv singing does not mean singing completely free and random. Just like the goal of improv acting is the story, the goal of improv singing is the song.

Making up a song on the spot is challenging enough, but how do we make our improv songs sound more like real songs? Wei-Hsiang has a few tricks for you that are fun and easy to learn.

Wei-Hsiang has been making up songs for 30+ years since he was born and has taught foundation and advanced Improv Singing workshops for seven years.

Important information:

This workshop will be conducted in Mandarin, with an English translator.

Requirement: Foundational improv training
